Origins Food Club is all about finding inspiration in traditional or historical food, and presenting it in a more modern fashion. We find inspiration in our own origins: the food from my beloved Asturias is a starting point, and a gastronomy that will always be close to to my heart. I am also inspired by our cultural roots and traditions: having studied musicology (and researched the eighteenth century for quite a bit), I think there is a lot to discover from historical food.
We host regular Supper Clubs, our opportunity to share all of this with you. Unlike a conventional restaurant, at Origins Food Club you get to share the experience with other guests in a large dining table, encouraging discussions about food, or any other topic. That's why we'll do our best for you to enjoy your food as much as the company of other fellow diners.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU HOST?
Supper Clubs are hosted at our cosy living room, and usually limited to 10 people only. However, we may be able to squeeze up to 12 diners on occasions.
If the God of British weather is kind enough, we will go al fresco in our lovely garden. Say your prayers now.
I HAVE A DIETARY REQUIREMENT, CAN YOU CATER FOR IT?
All the food prep and cooking are done by Miguel single-handedly, which means that we can only offer a single set menu for all our diners. Although we cannot rehash the menu completely for each individual, we may be able to substitute a single dish if you tell us in advance. Please let us know if you suffer any allergies so we can adapt our dishes for you.
CAN I BOOK PRIVATE EVENINGS / EVENTS / CATERING?
YES! In fact, we believe that our cosy, intimate setting is ideal for small groups that want to celebrate in style. We can take the party to your place too! Let us know your thoughts and we will do our best to meet your requirements.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY BOOKING?
We request that guests pay £15 at the time of booking via paypal.me/MiguelEsteban. The remaining balance will be paid in cash on the day.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
Our supper club has a very limited space and we will stop taking bookings after we’ve reached capacity. So, please, if you can’t make, please let us know ASAP so we can offer the space to somebody else. Cancellations made less than 48h before the event will incur in a loss of the £15 deposit. If you cancel before then, you will keep a £15 credit for a later supper club booking.
